Today, Tuesday, farmers in the village of Maasara, south of Bethlehem, confronted a group of settlers, who broke into their land and expelled them.

The director of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission office in Bethlehem, Hassan Brijieh, stated that the citizens confronted settlers who were grazing sheep on their agricultural land in the Shaab Sultan area located between Al Ma'sara and Wadi Rahal, and they were expelled.

Barijia explained that the settlers left the plantations in ruins, pointing out that there is an escalation by settlers and the occupation forces against citizens and their properties in different areas of Bethlehem Governorate.
It should be noted that the Apartheid Wall swallows an area (41,186 square meters) of Bethlehem, and the number of settlements and outposts in the governorate is 33, the number of settlers is (82,318), the total area of   the settlements is (18,158) dunums and the total area of   the Israeli military bases ( 283 dunums, while the area of   the areas isolated by the wall is 160,647 dunums.
