Hebrew sources said, this morning, Wednesday, that the "Israeli" neighborhood council confirmed and approved the establishment of 530 new settlement units in East Jerusalem.

According to the Hebrew Kan Radio, it was chosen to build 400 units in the "Gilo" settlement southwest of Jerusalem, and 130 different units in the "Ramat Shlomo" settlement north of the city.
The radio stated that the Occupation’s Planning and Building Committee in the Jerusalem area will meet tomorrow, Thursday, to support the arrangement pushed by a factor of political pressure, as this progress is preceded by Joe Biden’s presentation as Prime Minister. The United States, which played a major role in freezing development in Jerusalem when power was in the hands of Barack Obama in 2010, and caused a major emergency with the Israeli government at that time led by Benjamin Netanyahu, prompting the halt of development and construction in those areas.
