The Israeli occupation army has killed nearly 100,000 Palestinians since the Nakba in 1948.

According to a report published on last Thursday, which falls on Palestinian martyr's day, the Israeli occupation army has killed about 11,000 people since the outbreak of the second intifada in 2000.
The year 2014 was the bloodiest year for the Palestinian people, as 2,240 Palestinians were killed by the Israeli occupation forces, 2,181 of them from the Gaza Strip, most of them during the Israeli aggression that lasted 51 days on the besieged Strip.

In 2019, the occupation army shot dead 151 Palestinians and 48 others in 2020.

Meanwhile, in the first week of 2021, the Israeli occupation forces killed a Palestinian with bullets.

Last year, the Israeli occupation authorities seized the bodies of 13 Palestinian martyrs, bringing the number of bodies of martyrs detained during the past five years to 73.

The occupation is still holding the bodies of 327 Palestinian martyrs, 254 of them dating back to 1968, in what is known as the "Cemetery of Numbers."
