Data published by the Al-Asir Club, today, Sunday, showed that the number of Palestinian women prisoners in the occupation prisons until the end of February 2012 reached 36, among them 11 mothers.

Among the female prisoners, 26 were sentenced to different prison terms, including 3 administrative detainees (Shorouk al-Badan, Bushra al-Tawil, and Khatam al-Sa'afin), in addition to 8 wounded prisoners, including the prisoner Israa Jaabees, and her more difficult condition.
The prisoner club indicated that the highest sentences were issued against the two prisoners Shorouk Dwayyat from Jerusalem (sentenced to 16 years imprisonment), and Shatila Abu Ayyad from inside the Green Line and the term of her sentence (16 years).
