An unarmed Palestinian was killed by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank, according to the Israeli army and Palestinian media.
And "Palestine News" reported that Israeli settlers opened fire and killed Khaled Nofal, 34, near the Palestinian village of Ras Karkar, northwest of the West Bank city of Ramallah.

The military said that the suspect had a fight with a guard, who was also unarmed, before being shot and killed by another guard and a third person.

She added that the incident took place at the Sde Ephraim farm, which does not appear on the maps, and is likely one of several small illegal outposts established by Jewish settlers in the occupied West Bank.

Radhi Abu Fakhida, head of the local council in Ras Karkar, said the deceased was Nawfal, who was married and the father of a four-year-old son.
He said that the army stormed Nawfal's house in the village early Friday morning and arrested his father, he had no information about the circumstances of Nawfal's death.

Many Palestinians took to social media to denounce Nawfal's death, and blamed an Israeli settler for the incident.

Approximately 500,000 Israeli settlers live in the occupied West Bank, primarily in large, sophisticated settlements that are illegal under international law. Militant settlers have established a number of smaller outposts without an official permit.

Palestinians see the settlements as a major obstacle to peace and the establishment of a Palestinian state, a position that enjoys wide international support .
