On Wednesday morning, extremist settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate, with heavy security from the Israeli occupation police.

The Islamic Endowments Department in occupied Jerusalem stated that 22 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the morning period, and they organized provocative tours in different parts of its courtyards.
She explained that Jewish guides provided explanations about the alleged temple during the storming, and some settlers performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern region of the mosque.

The occupation police continued to impose restrictions on Palestinian entry to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and seized their IDs at its external gates. Dozens of women and young men were still kept away from the mosque for varying periods of time.

Since the occupation of Jerusalem in 1967, the occupation authorities have controlled the keys to the Mughrabi Gate, and through them, they carried out daily incursions of settlers and the occupation forces.
