Dozens of civilians were suffocated with tear gas, including children, today, Friday, during the Israeli occupation army's suppression of the weekly anti-settlement march of Kafr Qaddum, which was launched to commemorate the Deir Yassin massacre carried out by the occupation gangs 73 years ago.

The media spokesman in the Qalqilya region, Murad Shteiwi, stated that the occupation soldiers attacked the participants in the march by firing teargas canisters and sponge bullets, which led to dozens of suffocation injuries, among them children.
He pointed out that the march was launched in commemoration of the 73rd anniversary of the Deir Yassin massacre, which was carried out by the Irgun and Stern gangs against our people in 1948, after Friday prayers from Omar bin Al-Khattab Mosque with the participation of hundreds of townspeople who demanded escalation of popular resistance to freedom and independence.
